This year's Pride in London event clashed with the England football team's starring role in the quarter final of the FIFA World Cup, playing against Sweden. Quite a dilemma for two things in the year that I really feel that I cannot miss. Despite not (remotely) being a football fan, I honestly thought that this match would be historic - it was unprecedented to even get that far in such a competition! I also love Pride so I made sure I got to see both.

My trip to Camden last month inspired me to focus on street art. In all cities beautiful and clever street art can be found. Some of it is subtle and cute and others are intentional art installations. There's even a section of tunnel under Waterloo dedicated to street art.
