Dawn & Dusk

As the days are shorter, approaching the Equinox, some stunning sunrises and sunsets are revealed. Also, the amazing thing about beautiful sunrises and sunsets, which is obvious when you think about it, is that you will never see the same one again. Beauty never to be repeated, only echoed. Dusk and dawn bring light, light brings colour, colour brings life.

Miniature photography fun

This month, I decided to take photography in a different direction. I experimented with the 'tilt-shift effect'. This is like marmite, you either love it or you hate it but it provokes a passionate response either way! I decided to look at real life in a different and fun way, showing the reality of our lives.

Reflecting on personal success

Looking back on the previous 18 months I have had a little success with my photography. Three of my photographs were selected as winners in the Amateur Photographer Citylife Billboard Competition. The images were displayed on JCDecaux screens in major shopping destinations and major rail hubs nationwide.
