Looking at the colour and magic of dawn and dusk

I've been looking back through my Flickr photostream and I've noticed the amount of colour more than anything else. I adore colour. The most colourful photos seem to be those that I have taken at dawn and dusk. It's interesting to see that there is colour in the most unlikely places. I now see cities and their 'corporate real estate' as they call it for their beauty as comes out in low light (the blue hour) and after dark. Armed with a tripod and more knowledge about long exposure I set on a mission to capture some magic. I learned during this mission that it is very hard to take photographs in low light without a tripod. Shutter speeds and arm shaking contribute to blurry photographs!

The amazing thing about beautiful sunrises and sunsets, which is obvious when you think about it, is that you will never see the same one again. Beauty never to be repeated, only echoed.
